新州 (普通)
南梁梁武帝普通八年（527年）郢州刺史元树讨平蛮族田金生，置新州，治所在新阳县（今湖北省京山县）。下辖梁宁郡新阳县、富水郡富水县。梁简文帝大宝二年（551年）三月，新州刺史李汉归顺北齐。西魏占据，改新州为温州。
